Group Programs

At the City Beach Rock Club, we are happy to facilitate a group climbing experience for your non-profit organization, scout troop, sports team, youth group, camp or just a group of friends. Discount pricing is available Monday through Friday between the hours of 11:00AM and 5:00PM. Group size minimum is 5 participants. We are very experienced with large groups of 50 or more climbers as well.

The following list of events requires reservations, a deposit and/or payment in full:

  • belay lessons, private instruction, classes, clinics & camps
  • climb & dine, overnight programs, ELC programs
  • groups asking for discount pricing
  • any event in involving CBRC staff as facilitators/belayers

Event Pricing:

Group Climbing:

  • Youth Day Passes: $13 (12 and under)
  • Adult Day Passes: $15 (13 and up)
  • Belaying Only: NO CHARGE + Free Rental equipment
  • Staffing: $20/hr/staff person (2 hr minimum)
  • Equipment: Harness Included
  • Rental Equipment Fees: shoes = $5/pair, chalk bag = $2 each

Youth Group Overnighters:

Make your next group outing last all night, literally. Our overnighter program allows your group to enjoy our facilities during the wee hours of the nights in a safe and monitored environment. Bring your group in and allow our staff to guide you through an adventurous night that includes, rock climbing, a high ropes course, a gaming hub, and a large movie if you so chose. The overnighter can be booked throughout the weekend which gives your group the chance to have the entire facility all to their own. Below is some information that will help you with your next booking:

Cost: The minimum cost of the over nighter is $ 750.00 (25 people at $30 per person). If you have more than 36 people your cost will be $ 28.00 per person

Classes:

Group Belay Safety Class: $20/person, 1-2 hr class (group size: 4 min, 30 max)

Group Intro to Climbing Class: $29 a person, 2 hour class (group size 4 min, 30 max)

Private Instruction: $45/hour/individual + $15/hr each additional person up to 4 maximum
