Answers to Frequently Asked Questions about Birthday Parties:

• How can I schedule a birthday party?

  Please email or call our Birthday Hotline at 510-651-2500 ext. 119. The Birthday Coordinator will return your email or call to book your child's Birthday Party. Our Birthday Coordinator's hours are generally Monday through Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. If you stop by and the Birthday staff is not here, please fill out the inquiry form at the front desk and we will be in touch with you during the next office day. Filling out the inquiry form does not guarantee the space is available but it does guarantee you will be called.

• Can I bring a birthday cake?

  Yes, you are welcome to bring a cake with candles and themed decorative items. We do ask you take home your decorations. If you would like your cake stored in our kitchen till it is time to sing, we would be delighted to accommodate you.

• Can I bring my own food for the party?

  We do have food and drinks you can purchase, so we do not allow you to bring in your own food.

• What type of food and beverages are available during my party?

  In Fremont, we offer wood fired pizzas and appetizers freshly made from our restaurant. In Santa Clara, we only offer pizza from an outside vendor. Beverages are charged at a per pitcher rate. There is no charge for water.

• When should I order pizzas and sodas for my party?

  Pizzas and sodas can be ordered the day of the party upon arrival.

• Do I need to bring silverware, table cloths, or napkins for the party?

  We provide plates, forks, napkins, table cloths and cups for every party. You are welcome to bring your own themed supplies.

• When should I show up?

  Due to limited time between parties, please arrive 10 minutes prior to your event. The party space and facility is only available to your group during your scheduled time. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee there will be space available to your group arriving earlier than 10 minutes or staying later.

• How many people are allowed to attend the party?

  For Inflatable Fun and the Hub Thing you can have up to 30 guests and for the Rockin' Party you can have up to 15 kids with seating for an additional 5 adults.

• Can I bring goodie bags?

  Absolutely, we love goodie bags. We ask that you hand them out at the end of the party and please no streamers or silly string as it is difficult for us to clean up.

• Do I need to fill out waivers for my party?

  All participants must have a waiver filled out and signed before the party. If multiple children from the same family are attending they may be included on the same waiver as long as the parent or guardian has filled out all their names and signed the form. Waivers can also be found on the birthday invitations provided free of charge by City Beach.

• Do I need to give City Beach a final headcount prior to my party?

  We require a final head count 8 days prior to the event.

• Can we roam around the entire facility during our party?

  We do multiple parties at once so we ask you respect the other party and their guests. We invite you to look at our facility that is open to the public as long as children are accompanied by an adult.

• How is the time broken up between party time and eating time?

  All of the Birthday Packages consist of two hours. There will be tables and chairs available for the duration of your party. The first 1.5 hours is assigned for the activities and food. The last 30 minutes is designated for the cake and celebration.

• Can our party stay and play following our booked party time?

  We do multiple programs in each facility at any given time therefore the party space is only reserved during your booked time slot. Our Santa Clara facility is only open on Saturdays and Sundays for private parties so all spaces must be booked ahead and we are closed outside of those booked times. In Fremont, additional activities may be available following your party but at additional costs and upon availability.
